Haze

North Idaho, 1978 - Vietnam vet Jack Tunney returned home to Idaho carrying a shameful secret. When an acquaintance is found hanged, the death is ruled a suicide. But the facts don't add up. Haunted by his own shame and past failures, he pushes back against a sheriff's department, a powerful mill owner, and a tight-knit community, all of whom have good reasons to accept the official story. Jack must weigh the cost of fighting to expose the truth against the price of silence.

Haze is a work in progress due in late 2027.
